I see only a few dots in my scanned image. What should I do?

• Try the following:
  • Clean the glass surface inside the scanner.
  • Try scanning at a higher resolution.
  • When scanning with the Black & White setting, change the Threshold setting. See Adjusting the Color and Other Image Settings.
