How do I measure the difference between two colors with the product?

    1. Press the button to turn on the product.
    2. Make sure the product is in Spot mode.

Note: If the product is not in Spot mode, press the back button on the product until you see the home screen.

Select > Measurement Settings > Measurement Mode > Spot.

Press the back button until you return to the home screen, then select .

    3. Make sure the sensor cover on the bottom of the product is open.
    4. Place the measurement window (aperture) over the target surface.

Note: Use the alignment marks on the sides of the sensor as guides when you want to align the device with the center of the item being measured.

    5. Press the enter button on the top of the product to record the measurement. The measurement results are displayed on the LCD screen; the border around the screen will change color to match the measured surface.
