Do all T-Series products support screen printing?
-
The Epson SureColor Screen Print Editions were designed to give screen printers a complete solution to producing screen positive film. For the most reliable and consistent results, it's recommended that screen printers purchase and use the Screen Print Edition printers; however, the standard SureColor T5270/T5270D and SureColor T7270/T7270D will produce great results when used with Epson Screen Positive Film in conjunction with a third-party RIP software (AccuRIP Black Pearl).
When using the standard Epson driver to print on Epson Screen Positive Film, we recommend the following settings:
Option Recommended setting Media Type Premium Luster Photo Paper (260) Ink Photo Black (automatically determined) Print Mode Color/B&W Photo Color Mode Off (No Color Management) Output Resolution 2880 x 1440 (Max Quality / Level 5) MicroWeave On High Speed Off (deselected) Color Density +50 Drying Time 0 Paper Feed Adjust 0* Paper Thickness 1 Platen Gap Auto Roll Paper Back Tension Auto Send 16-bit Data (OS X only) Off (deselected) * To ensure optimal quality and registration between film sets, it is recommended that you perform a manual paper feed adjustment on the printer control panel when using Epson Screen Positive Film for the first time.
