I see the message Allow [application name] to find device on local networks. What should I do?

• If the application name displayed in the dialog window is an Epson program you are using, select Allow.

  There are some applications that do not indicate they are from Epson. Refer to the tables below to identify the applications and the behavior that will occur if the application is blocked.

  Note: If you do not allow access, the application or your product's features may not work. Due to a security feature in macOS 15, you must grant local network access to any applications that communicate with devices on the network.

  Fax Utility

  Application Name	Behavior if the application is blocked
  epsonfax	When adding a PC-FAX printer, the fax search will not find the printer.
  EPFaxAutoSetupTool	The Fax Utility will not display the Fax Receive Monitor icon.

  If you accidentally blocked an application and want to unblock it, do the following:

  1. Select System Settings > Privacy and Security > Local Network.
  2. Find the application in the list and enable it.
