My older Mac doesn't support audio through an HDMI connection. How do I connect audio via HDMI?

You can connect an HDMI cable for video and connect a stereo mini-jack cable from your Mac's headphone output to the projector's mic input for audio. Do the following:
- Open System Preferences on your Mac and select Sound.
- Make sure audio output is set to the Headphone port.
