When I attach the HDMI to DisplayPort adapter from the HDMI output source to my product's DisplayPort input, there is no signal. What is wrong?

• Connect the HDMI to DisplayPort adapter from the DisplayPort output source to the projector's HDMI port.
  
  Note: The HDMI to DisplayPort adapters are unidirectional and must be connected from a DisplayPort output source to an HDMI input source on the projector.
