The projector's light(s) indicate an error. What should I do?

    Projector Light Status

    The lights on the projector indicate the projector status and let you know when a problem occurs. Check the status and color of the lights and look for a solution in the table here.

    Note: Your product may look different from the illustrations in this guide, but the instructions are the same.

    • Make sure that the vents and air filter are not clogged with dust or obstructed by nearby objects.
    • Clean or replace the air filter.
    • Make sure the environmental temperature is not too hot.
    OffFlashing blueOffOrangeProjector has overheated and turned off. Leave it turned off to cool down. Once the Temp and Status lights turn off and the power light turns blue (after about five minutes), try the suggestions below:
    • Make sure that the vents and air filter are not clogged with dust or obstructed by nearby objects.
    • Clean or replace the air filter.
    • If operating the projector at high altitude, turn on High Altitude Mode.
    • If the problem persists, unplug the projector and contact Epson for help.

    • Check to see if the lamp is burned out, broken, or installed incorrectly. Reseat or replace the lamp as necessary.
    • Clean or replace the air filter.
    • If operating the projector at high altitude, turn on High Altitude Mode.
    • If the problem persists, unplug the projector and contact Epson for help.
