Support Projectors PowerLite Series Epson PowerLite 2040

How do I project an image from my iOS or Android device?

  • Do one of the following:

    • Use Epson's iProjection app. See the setup instructions below for your device type for more instructions.
    • Connect your projector and the device using an MHL cable adapter and an HDMI cable, or an MHL-to-HDMI cable.

Note: Make sure to connect to the projector's HDMI1/MHL port.

    • Android only: Screen mirror the display with Miracast (PowerLite 975W/2165W/2255U/2265U only). See the links below for more information.

Note: You must install the Epson 802.11b/g/n wireless LAN module, then set up your projector and computer for wireless projection. If the wireless LAN module is not included with the projector, you can purchase it from the Epson Store. If your projector is connected to a wired local area network (LAN) with a 100Base-TX or 10Base-T network cable and the network includes a wireless access point, the wireless LAN module is not needed.
