Mini Sized with Maximum Performance
- Best in Class Cycle Time and Precision
- High Performance, High Rigidity Arm Design
- Industry Leading Mini SCARA
- ISO Clean & ESD Compliant Models
- Also available in 175mm arm length
Epson Robots started the Compact class of SCARA robots about 10 years ago with the simple understanding that "smaller is better". Now 10 years later, once again Epson Robots is leading the way with the same "smaller is better" priciple applied to our G1 series robots. Epson G1 175 and 225mm arms are Mini SCARA arms with the same high performance you've come to expect from all Epson Robots. G1 cycle times lead the industry and the best part is that they not only beat competitive models in speed tests, they do it while handling larger payloads as compared to competitive models. Also, with repeatabilities down to 0.005mm G1 arms can handle many of the high precision jobs that used to require high precision XY arms which take up lots of factory space with their large footprints.
Epson G1 Mini SCARA robots are the robot of choice for super high precision, high speed applications where performance AND low cost are required. They are ideal for applications such as hard drive assembly, lab automation, electronics assembly, medical device assembly, photonics, semiconductor, telecommunications, solar, and many others.
Unique to the G1 Mini SCARA robots is that they are available as 4 axis or 3 axis models. G1 Mini SCARA robots can be ordered with the last rotational axis (U-Axis) removed. This is for applications where rotational orientation of the part is not required.
Epson created the compact class of SCARA robots over 10 years ago with our E-Series line. Now 10 years later, we introduced an even smaller, faster and more precise SCARA we call the Mini SCARA. While small in size, the G1 Mini SCARA arms incorporate all the same high peformance components and design concepts as the other G-Series robots such as high rigidity arms as well as our PowerDrive servo technology to yield high performance results in a compact and lower cost format.
