SunMed Growers team worked closely with the label printing experts at Integrated Productivity Systems (IPSi) to implement a custom print-and-apply labeling system featuring the Epson ColorWorks industrial, on-demand color label printer and the Epson VT6L 6-Axis robot. The Epson system is a truly automated, flexible robotic print-and-apply solution for printing high-quality color labels next-label out.
By leveraging a custom work cell using four Epson T3 SCARA robots interfaced to an Allen-Bradley PLC with a FactoryTalk® View Site Edition HMI, PAR Systems were able to control all machine operations.
PharmaMed Automation's solution comprised of designing and building a self-contained labeling cell with an Epson ColorWorks® CW-C6000P Color Inkjet Label Printer, an Epson VT6L All-in-One 6-Axis Robot, a custom label track, custom tool head, and a conveyor, with all logic residing in the robot’s built-in controller.
